Hi there, I’m Cole. I am your neighbor in Prairie Village and running to represent Ward 1 on our City Council.

I am a third-generation Prairie Village resident. My three brothers and I were raised in the same house my mom grew up in. We walked to school at Tomahawk Elementary, played countless baseball games at Porter Park, read all the books at Corinth Library, and spent our summers at the Prairie Village pool. Even as a kid, I realized Prairie Village was a special place.

After graduating from Shawnee Mission East in 2002, I attended the University of Kansas to major in Business Administration. With a degree in hand, I started playing professional poker and began traveling the world. I lived in Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Croatia, and Hong Kong, eventually transitioning from playing poker to trading financial markets. I have always been self-employed with an entrepreneurial bent, making a living by finding creative ways to solve complex problems.

When it was time to move back to America in 2016, my wife and I knew Prairie Village was where we wanted to raise our growing family. Now with four kids, we appreciate everything that our community offers - awesome parks, welcoming neighborhoods, beautiful trees, safe streets, and so much more.

As your representative on the City Council, I will work hard to make sure Prairie Village remains a wonderful place to live, now and in the future.
